Gillian Clark CH.t, spa owner of Illumination Spa at Watermark Beach Resort, has been a business owner for over 8 years and is the Patented Inventor of Transform The Mind Jewelry. She has been doing body and mind work on her clients for over 15 years. Her background includes patented inventor, entrepreneur, administration, Hypnotherapist, spa and bodywork professional as well as teacher.

Gillian's diverse skills and understanding of the body and mind, right to the molecular level of the body, affords her the ability to understand people on a very deep mind, body and emotional level. This gives her the unique understanding of how to aid people in their relaxation and to help them disconnect from the stress they are experiencing in their life.

Her vision for Illumination Spa is unique in the Okanagan. It includes having completely vegan and organic spa products, a revolutionary green eco-friendly paperless spa and an environment where relaxation isn't just a word used in a brochure but a complete mind, body and spirit experience. Illumination is committed to having every client leave feeling special. She sees everyone as beautifully unique and individual and has created the spa services menu at Illumination so that everyone would feel and experience their own beauty and individuality.

Gillian's vision for the future includes trendsetting new innovative ideas and therapies in her spa, to back to school to become a naturopath and living a life fully in every moment that involves passion and creativity. She enjoys traveling, exercising, reading a good book and listening to others.

Kimberly

Kimberly was born in Vancouver growing up close to the beach swimming becoming one of her favorite activities plus hiking ,biking and camping with the family. A competitive runner throughout school, lead her to becoming certified fitness instructor through BCRPA. She very much enjoys working with people to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. In 1996 she spent the year training in Vancouver to become a Reiki Master and began teaching all levels including Masters in Reiki. She is also certified in Swedish massage, hot and cold stone massage, bodywraps, aromatherapy ,muscle realignment massage and facials. She loves facilitating and promoting healing on a mind ,body, and spirt level with all clients, to help them achieve their therapeutic needs. She has had extensive experience working in Whistler BC and Okanagan Valley and has left many clients extremely happy, which affords her many compliments on her massages which keeps them rebooking .

Lauren

Lauren has always had an interest in beauty and the way in which it reflects your health and well-being. Having recently graduated with a Diploma of Advanced Esthetics, she is excited to be working within the field and seeing where this career path leads her. After her work as a flight attendant for more than five (5) years, she learnt the importance of skin care from an early age. Working at high altitudes with recirculated air, dehydrated skin was a constant issue. As such, facial rejuvenation and skin care treatments are predominantly her areas of interest within spa therapy.

Aside from her passion for the beauty industry, she loves travel, fashion and personal fitness. She is a self-confessed cardio addict who loves doing anything active whether it is running, swimming or spinning! She feels privileged to live in Osoyoos, particularly in the summer, because the outdoor activities are endless. She is thrilled to be working with the industry team at Illumination Spa.

Melissa

Melissa Kembrey came to Canada from Murwillumbah Australia in 2008 and now has decided to stay with us in Osoyoos, B.C. Her esthetician background began in 2007 when she decided a career in teaching people to relax and enjoy life is where her passions lie and what she wants to be dedicated to in her life. She loves and enjoys doing bodywork and has received many compliments on her deep tissue, relaxation massages and bodywraps. Although she works hard to do her best in every service, her greatest love and what she feels she excels at is bodywork. She enjoys greatly seeing her clients relax and feel re-energized after their treatment.

Melissa 's favourite part of her job is getting to meet new and wonderful people everyday and learning more about the human spirit. Her hobbies include hiking in the mountains, relaxing as she watches a movie with a great glass of an Okanagan wine and hanging out with her long term partner Brad and friends.

Carmen

Carmen has always kept health and wellness constant in her life, although at times she finds it can be tough. Being a spa therapist has kept Carmen in line with learning new things everyday over the past 3 years. Although she is very passionate about being a spa therapist, there has always been a longing for her to explore deeper into the world of massage.

At this time, she is currently attending school to become a Registered Massage Therapist in Vernon, B.C. and is loving it. Hiking, beach volleyball and group exercise classes are just a few of the extracurricular activities that she has picked up as of late. Her positive attitude and her ability to enjoy life while accomplishing goals keeps her focused and in line with her life's vision.

Jessica

Jessica has lived in Osoyoos for a good part of her life. Two years ago she decided to pack up her things and go live in the city. While in Vancouver she started living her dreams of being a freelance makeup artist and esthetician. She studied downtown at the world renowned John Casablancas Institute, earning a diploma for both courses. She has worked on music videos; fashion shows, advertising campaigns, charity events, photo shoots, independent films and much more.

Now back in the Okanagan she is enjoying building a clientele working at Illumination Spa. She enjoys all aspects of what the spa has to offer, but enjoys facials, nail enhancements and of course makeup the most. She strives to do her best and is looking forward to the opportunities that the future of the spa will bring.
